The theme of the 2016 conference is: A time for courageous ethical leadership. South Africa finds itself in a situation of low morality and low morale. Often low morale is triggered by a lack of morality in organisations and in society at large. A time like this calls for courageous moral leaders to turn the tide of moral decline. Leaders with the will and ability to lead organisations and society in a time like this will share their experience and visions of moral courage. They will tell what it takes to turn around low morality and low morale. We will also look at the role that the professions need to play to promote moral courage amongst their members and in the organisations that they serve. Finally we will look into the vision that the Fourth King Report has of organisations with strong ethical cultures. The conference will allow for interaction between the audience and the invited speakers.

The intended audience of the conference are executive and senior management as well as persons responsible for managing ethics in organisations in the private and public sectors.

The conference will allow for interaction between the audience and the invited speakers. Creative use of communication and information technology will complement face-to-face interaction.
